What is an IATA number?

An IATA number is an 8-digit identification code assigned to entities that book group travel by the International Air Transport Association. Marriott makes commission payments to group partners who have been assigned valid numbers by IATA, ARC (the Airline Reporting Corporation), TSI (Travel Services Intermediary), or TIDS (The Travel Industry Designator Service).
